Darcy Shields runs Love at First Bite from a Hillbrook Drive kitchen in Spartanburg, working as the shop's baker, decorator, and owner.

Wedding cakes start at $6 a serving, and add-ons such as florals, fondant, and additional fillings start at $7 a serving; cupcakes start at $2.50 each. Any wedding cake with three tiers or more is delivered on the event day rather than offered for pickup. Couples can order a Wedding Cake Tasting Box with eight flavors and four fillings for $45 before committing to a design.

Signature flavors include chocolate, vanilla, marble, red velvet, strawberry, and lemon, filled with options such as chocolate ganache, strawberry, raspberry, or Oreo. Love at First Bite also makes celebration cakes and cupcakes for other events, priced separately from its wedding menu.
