Twisted Whisk bakes out of a storefront on West Main Street in downtown Lexington, where the wedding team designs tiered buttercream cakes stacked as tall as a couple wants. The shop has been nominated for Lexington's Best Bakery and Best Cakes & Desserts awards.

Wedding cakes start at $7.50 per serving depending on design and detail, built from 8-inch, four-layer base cakes offered in roughly 30 flavors, from Italian cream and pink champagne to lemon raspberry and RumChata, with an optional cheesecake filling. Per-tier pricing runs from a 6-inch tier serving 12 for $90 up to a 16-inch tier serving 100 for $750. The bakery also runs an extensive gluten-free menu that covers wedding cakes and dessert tables, including gluten-free mini cheesecakes and cookies. Dessert tables require a 50-guest minimum and run $7 a person for a choice of three desserts or $9 a person for five.

Wedding tastings cover up to six guests and include a walkthrough of design and flavor options; tastings cost $50, and a $75 deposit within two weeks of the tasting locks in the date. The shop is located at 206 West Main St. in Lexington and takes orders by phone, email, or social media.
