Chocolate Wonderland
Chocolate Wonderland has operated on Ellis Avenue in Lexington for close to 30 years, building its name on custom boxed chocolates, candy stations, and chocolate centerpieces before expanding into made-to-order cakes.
A three-tier wedding cake starts at $259, available in round, square, or rectangle shapes, with a choice of chocolate, yellow, lemon, orange, marble, or red velvet cake finished in chocolate fudge, white buttercream, or cream cheese icing. The shop also sells cupcakes starting at $12.99 a dozen and quarter-sheet birthday cakes from $26.99, and stocks wedding cake toppers, cake pans, and other decorating supplies for couples handling their own baking.
Cake orders must be placed in person or by phone at least one business day ahead, and the shop recommends reserving a wedding cake a month or more in advance. Local delivery is available for an additional charge. Chocolate Wonderland is open Wednesday through Saturday at 182 Ellis Avenue in Lexington, and closed Sunday through Tuesday.
