Gayle Collins started Soirée by the Sea in North Myrtle Beach after leaving a 17-year corporate career, and now runs it alongside her husband Ray Collins, an ordained minister who also works as a DJ, and caterer Tammie Mullis.

The company sells traditional coordination in two tiers plus a full-planning option. A day-of coordinator steps in shortly before the wedding to confirm the bridal party, process vendor payments, and oversee setup and breakdown. A month-of coordinator takes over four to six weeks out, building the timeline, directing the rehearsal, and following up with vendors, with unlimited texts, calls, or emails through the final stretch. A separate full-planning package adds venue sourcing and vendor matching for couples starting from scratch. Soirée by the Sea also sells a distinct line of all-inclusive beach ceremony packages, from a $200 officiant-only option up to a $5,500 package with a mini-reception, that bundle an officiant, photography, and decor rather than ongoing planning.

The business is based in North Myrtle Beach and serves Grand Strand beaches from Windy Hill to Cherry Grove, plus other North and South Carolina coastal spots, with travel fees of $50 to $250 outside its home area. Day-of coordination starts at $875, month-of coordination at $1,500, and full planning at $2,670.
