About
Susan Pittman has run Purple Ivy Events out of the Travelers Rest and Greer area since 2010, and the business does something few Upstate planners do: it prices every tier openly on its own site instead of routing every couple through a quote form. The published ladder runs from Day-of-Coordinating at $1,075, through Plum (month-out planning) at $1,125 and Lavender (partial planning) at $1,625, up to Ivy (full planning) at $2,250.
The entry-level Day-of-Coordinating package covers four planning consultations, a venue walkthrough, vendor coordination, a setup review, and distribution of final vendor payments on the wedding day, plus rehearsal and ceremony direction. Move up a tier and Pittman adds attire suggestions, vendor meetings and recommendations, and rental and decor guidance; the full-planning tier adds unlimited consultations and hands-on design support. A $125 fee applies when the ceremony and reception sit at two different locations.
Purple Ivy Events is a small, owner-led operation reachable by phone or email, with client contact handled by appointment. The mailing address is a PO Box in Tigerville, just outside Travelers Rest, and no active Instagram or Facebook account was found linked from the site at review time.
