About
Ocean Violinist
Na You founded the group and plays concertmaster with the Beaufort Symphony Orchestra. She took a bachelor's in violin performance at the Beijing Central Conservatory, an artist diploma from Indiana University in 1998 and a master's in violin performance from Bowling Green in 2000, and has been playing weddings since 1995.
The roster runs deeper than one player. Dr. Jeong Park, a first violinist with the Beaufort Symphony, is listed as the main player for the Hilton Head and Savannah area and has more than ten years of wedding work behind her. Violinist Bailey Young has played YouthFest at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina since age six and given recitals at the Hilton Head and Bluffton libraries, and cellist Lu You covers the group's California bookings. Couples can book a soloist, a violin duet, a violin-and-cello duet, a trio or a quartet for the ceremony and cocktail hour.
