Mobile Marriage

Mobile Marriage has operated in Charleston since 1986, when founder Lin Lewis started the business; her site states she has personally performed ceremonies for 35 years. Two additional officiants, Jill Kruger and Alicia Benton, are listed on the company's about page.

Pricing is broken out by location and time: a $100 in-office ceremony on weekdays before 4 p.m., a $200 evening or Saturday in-office ceremony, a $300 beach ceremony at Folly Beach, Isle of Palms, or Sullivan's Island, a $400 ceremony at Kiawah or Seabrook resorts, and a $250 ceremony at Magnolia or Middleton Plantation. A same-day ceremony with the license already in hand is also $100, and license processing alone runs $100.

Sunday bookings add $50, a rehearsal is billed at half the ceremony fee, and a $50-per-half-hour late fee applies without 24 hours' notice.
