About
Lisa and Jon Holmes own Tiger Lily Weddings, the wedding division of Tiger Lily Florist, which the site states has been voted Charleston's Best Florist for 24 years. Senior floral wedding designer Gayla Harvey leads the design team out of a 3,000-square-foot studio on James Island, with a second retail boutique in downtown Charleston.
The team designs across a range of Lowcountry-leaning looks, from coastal palettes and Southern charm to classic blue-and-white and traditional white-and-green arrangements, and will also build a custom scheme around a couple's own inspiration. Packages cover bridal party flowers, ceremony and reception arrangements, and optional rentals such as linens, lighting, candles, and plants, with the studio handling delivery, setup, and breakdown. A 40% labor fee applies to every wedding package, covering the consultation, proposal revisions, site visits, sourcing, and day-of execution.
Tiger Lily works out of Charleston and books a limited number of events per weekend to maintain its standard of work. A deposit of 20% of the proposal estimate or $300, whichever is greater, holds a date, with the balance due 21 days before the event. Full delivery and setup service requires a $3,000 minimum; couples who pick up their order at the studio during business hours pay no minimum.
