Gathering Events

Heather Barrie, Mary Ruth Miller, and Max Diego founded Gathering Events, a Charleston studio on Meeting Street that pairs full-service event planning with floral design rather than treating them as separate bookings. Their own site notes that Martha Stewart Weddings has named them one of the best florists in the country.

Couples working with Gathering get a combined approach: floral design built around lush, organic, nature-inspired arrangements with layered texture, alongside planning, fabric, lighting, and furnishings sourced to match. The team describes its own work as understated, and handles a wedding from first concept through day-of execution.
