Two things Lowcountry couples usually book from separate companies, DJ and MC entertainment and custom event lighting, come from one contract at JLK Events, which Jamie and Liz Bodie run out of Ridgeland in Jasper County. The lighting menu is unusually long: uplighting, cafe lights, Edison bulbs, tent lighting, pin spotting, chandeliers, rope and mason jar chandeliers, custom monograms, pattern projection, tree and foliage lighting, lanterns, grapevine orbs, under-table lighting, drip lighting and Airstar fixtures, each with its own page.

On the wedding side the company lists ceremony PA, DJ and MC entertainment, audio-visual services and event live-streaming, plus photo booth rentals and coverage of rehearsal dinners as well as receptions. Bookings are handled by a team of DJs rather than a single operator, and booked couples get a client log-in on the site.
