Gary Lucca, who works as DJ Tanz, runs Anchor Entertainment out of Bluffton as his direct-booking brand, after years of Lowcountry weddings under the JLK Events and Hilton Head Entertainment banners. His site counts more than 1,500 events across the Lowcountry and Coastal Empire, 15-plus years of work, and sixteen consecutive WeddingWire Bride's Choice Awards from 2010 through 2025.

A wedding booking is written to cover the whole day rather than a base rate with add-ons. That means battery-powered ceremony audio with a windscreen lavalier for the officiant and a handheld for readings and vows, cueing for the cocktail transition, and reception DJing with measured MC work through the formalities. Planning includes a week-of call and a run-of-show built with the planner and confirmed with the venue coordinator at rehearsal. Uplighting, dance floor lighting, silent disco and additional entertainers are coordinated through the same contact.

Anchor is based in Bluffton. Named island coverage includes Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes, Shipyard and Port Royal, plus cross-bridge receptions at Palmetto Bluff and Spring Island, and dates in Beaufort and Savannah. Greater Charleston is taken case by case. Gary answers inquiries himself and quotes each wedding individually; no rates are published on the site.
