Events by Snow
Kevin Snow launched Events by Snow in 2011 after DJing on weekends while teaching theatre and public speaking, following a 2008 theatre education degree from Winthrop University. Fifteen years later he has worked more than a thousand events, most of them weddings across the Columbia and Lexington area.
The company publishes four wedding tiers directly on its site: a Center Stage package at $2,500 covering up to five hours of reception-only DJ service, a VIP package at $3,000 that adds ceremony coverage with dual sound systems, a Backstage Pass at $3,500 for up to six hours across three sound locations, and a Celebrity Experience at $9,875, limited to eight couples a year. Standard services include ceremony audio, emcee duties, reception music, uplighting, and a 360-degree photo booth, with monogram projection and a video DJ booth available as add-ons.
Based in Columbia, the company also books destination weddings outside South Carolina. Kevin Snow hosts a companion podcast, The Wedding Help Desk, covering wedding-planning topics.
