Cameron Glover moved back to his hometown of Columbia in 2002, trained under radio and mobile DJs around the southeast, and in 2005 formed what became Big Time Entertainment; the company says he has worked more than 2,000 events since. Alongside him the roster lists Darryl Turner, a Columbia native who also runs the Audio FX recording studio, Irvin Thompson, a DJ and MC since 2001, and Dante Turner, who started in 2013.

A DJ booking includes a free in-person consultation, unlimited phone and email planning, master-of-ceremonies duties covering introductions, announcements and the run of formalities, coordination with the couple's other vendors, wireless microphones for toasts, and a DJ light show. The rental catalog runs wide: uplighting, monogram and custom-image spotlights, cafe and market string lights, LED stages and dance floors, event draping, cold sparks, sparkler send-offs, and staffed photo booths listed from $695. The company also books its own seven- and nine-piece party bands.

The business works from 116 Old Chapin Road in Lexington and lists service across Columbia, Lexington, Florence, North Augusta, Charleston and Greenville, plus Charlotte and Augusta, Georgia. DJ package pricing is not published; couples receive a quote after a consultation, while photo booth and band rates are posted individually.
