Philomena's Catering Co.

Chef Alexandra opened Philomena's Catering Co. in 2017 after more than 25 years of culinary experience and a 2012 culinary school degree. The company, based on Highway 9 in Longs, says it has been voted Best Wedding Caterer for two consecutive years and operates its own private event space, Philomena's Room, for weddings and other gatherings.

Weddings can be served plated, buffet, or through interactive food stations, built around an Italian-and-Southern menu that includes shrimp and grits, meatballs, and a pasta bar, with gluten-free options available. The company handles events up to 500 guests, supplies tableware rentals such as plates, silverware, chargers, and goblets, and staffs its own licensed, insured, TIPS-certified bartenders for craft cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
