Elephant Memories

Elephant Memories is a Charleston-based wedding videography duo founded by Clarissa Duque and Karl — a uniquely skilled pair who bring serious cinematic credentials to every wedding they film. Clarissa is an award-winning film director whose work has been selected for festivals including Cannes, Chicago, and Amiens, winning international awards in San Diego, Mar del Plata, Marseilles, Brazil, Mexico, and Switzerland. Karl is a musician, songwriter, and sound engineer who collaborates with couples to select and blend perfect music for each film.

Unlike most wedding videographers who follow templates, Elephant Memories custom-crafts every film from scratch to reflect each couple's personality, humor, and style. Their process begins weeks before the wedding with detailed questionnaires and creative conversations, culminating in films that feel more like documentary movies than wedding videos.

Deliverables include 3–5 minute trailers, 5–9 minute highlight films, 1–2 minute social shorts, and 20–30 minute full-length feature documentaries. Drone footage, second shooter, real-time editing options, and live ceremony audio are all available. Based in Charleston, SC, with availability also in Boston and for destination weddings worldwide.
