Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort

Nine distinct settings sit inside Palmetto Dunes, which is the practical reason to look at it: guest count picks the room rather than the other way around. At the small end, the Historic Hilton Head Rear Range Lighthouse holds a ceremony and cocktail hour for 25. At the large end, the Veranda at Arthur Hills runs 2,642 square feet — 1,479 indoors and 1,163 out — and seats 160.

In between are the Dunes House, 800 square feet inside with a 1,000-square-foot deck, for up to 120; the 1,628-square-foot Centre Court Pavilion, also 120; the Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina Pavilion at 150; Alexander's Restaurant and Wine Bar, whose enclosed porch seats 55 and whose full dining room takes 120; and the Toptracer Range, 64 indoors or 120 with outdoor seating. Ceremonies also happen on the Arthur Hills course and on the beach.

Pricing is published for the small formats, which is unusual for a resort. Beach proposals start at $500, and micro or elopement weddings for up to 50 guests start at $1,000, bookable Monday through Thursday. The resort also runs three championship golf courses, tennis and pickleball, a marina, and lagoon and oceanfront rentals.
