Ramona Nicolae grew up in Romania, where she first picked up a camera, and moved to the United States in 2006, later earning a master's degree here. Today she runs her studio at 710 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach, shooting weddings in a style she calls photojournalistic and southern "with a dash of wild" — loose, emotional coverage over stiff formal setups.

Wedding collections range from $2,800 to $5,500, with most couples booking around $3,200; a $1,000 retainer applies toward the final balance. Most packages include an engagement session in Myrtle Beach or Pawleys Island and a customizable Italian leather album, and she offers scaled-down options for elopements and one-hour weddings.

She covers the full Grand Strand — Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, and Pawleys Island — and travels for weddings farther afield. Credentials include the 2017 Gold Medal Award from Woman's Magazine, The Knot Best of Weddings, WeddingWire Couples' Choice honors, an A rating from the BBB, and membership in Professional Photographers of America.
