Middle Child Photography

Kip has photographed more than 300 weddings on the Grand Strand since opening Middle Child Photography in 2007, and his approach has stayed consistent the whole time: keep things relaxed, get to know the wedding party, and shoot the real moments — candid laughs and unscripted dances — rather than a stiff checklist of poses.

Every wedding package includes two photographers, an engagement or bridal session, and a custom-designed 12x12 album, with six to eight hours of coverage depending on tier; the Gold and Platinum collections add full-gallery downloads, and Platinum layers in a parent album and a canvas print. Packages start at $2,600.

Based on the south end of Myrtle Beach near Surfside Beach, Kip covers the full Grand Strand and travels for destination weddings, with past work on the New Jersey coast, in Newport, Rhode Island, and in the Bahamas. He also gives back locally, organizing free portrait sessions each summer for families of children fighting cancer.
