Before turning to weddings, the photographer behind Jay Dee Photography — Jessica, a Massachusetts north-shore native with a master's degree and a former career in art direction — photographed Paris Fashion Week in 2013. That background shows in editorial-influenced compositions drawing on impressionist paintings, European architecture, and wistful romance; clients describe the finished galleries as clean, light, and airy.

She limits the number of weddings she takes each year and runs a boutique process: a consultation before booking, then vendor recommendations, engagement-session guidance, and timeline help during planning, and a hands-on-but-unobtrusive presence on the wedding day — in her words, both hands-on and a fly on the wall. Solo coverage is standard, with a second photographer recommended as an add-on for guest counts over 150 or multi-location days; engagement sessions and albums are also available.

Now based in Charleston, she photographs across the Lowcountry and New England — Boston and Martha's Vineyard among her featured destinations — plus weddings in France and wider Europe. A $1,000 retainer reserves a date, preview images arrive within a week, and full galleries follow in six to eight weeks.
