Magnolia Elopements

Magnolia Elopements is run by Morgan in Greenville and does one thing: mountain-chapel elopements in the Upstate. Bookings are currently taken for Pretty Place and Glassy Mountain Chapel only, and couples wanting elsewhere are referred to partners.

That narrowness is the offer. Both chapels sit on the escarpment above the Blue Ridge and both have specific rules, sightlines and light windows that reward someone who works them repeatedly rather than once.

Pricing is published in full. Officiant and ceremony coordination alone is $600. Silver starts at $2,450, Gold at $2,950 and Platinum at $3,850, each adding to a base of officiant, coordination, ceremony music selection and two hours of photography delivered as an edited online gallery. Florals, cake, hair and makeup, videography and live music sit above that.

One person acting as officiant and coordinator is a real advantage at these sites, where a ceremony often has a fixed slot and a queue behind it.

The photographs are of real ceremonies at both chapels, including one couple under an umbrella in the rain, which is a more honest picture of a mountaintop wedding than most sites publish.
