About
Tierney Stone started designing with flowers more than 20 years ago as a way to decompress from her job as a research analyst at a London bank, took floral design classes in London, then left banking to run a flower shop and later freelance with event florists in Charleston and the Lowcountry for three years. She now owns and operates Stone Floral Design Studio out of Beaufort, working weddings and events across the Lowcountry.
Every wedding starts with a detailed floral proposal built around the couple's vision and the venue setting, and each proposal includes a bloom glossary, vessel rental options, logistics planning, and itemized pricing before anything is booked. Beyond ceremony and reception flowers, the studio also designs for rehearsal dinners and private parties, and takes on freelance work alongside other Lowcountry florists.
Stone Floral is based in Beaufort and works throughout the Lowcountry; the studio has driven flowers and containers further afield by U-Haul and traveled by plane for out-of-state weddings. No wedding minimum or package pricing is published online, so couples receive an itemized quote as part of their proposal.
