Laurel Creek Florals

Kendra Schirmer runs Laurel Creek Florals as a farmer-florist, growing many of the specialty stems she designs with on a working flower farm in Pickens County. She has spent around eight years designing weddings, working in a garden style that pulls from wildflower fields as much as formal florals, and building her business around sustainable practices like skipping floral foam.

Full-service wedding clients get custom floral design, a venue visit, and on-site installation with setup and breakdown included. Laurel Creek also runs occasional workshops in floral design and plant-dyed textiles for couples and other florists who want to learn the techniques firsthand.
